Returns and Refunds Policy – Odave
1. Defective Products and Credit Notes Only Due to the nature of our products, Odave does not offer general returns, exchanges, or monetary refunds for a change of mind. Returns and credit notes shall only be processed in the event that you receive a defective or damaged product. Please note that any original Cash-on-Delivery charges and shipping fees are strictly non-refundable.
2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Proof If you receive a defective product, you are required to immediately get in touch with the Odave support team via phone, WhatsApp chat, or email. To validate any claim for a damaged item, you must provide clear video proof highlighting the problem via an unboxing video.
To be accepted, your unboxing video recording must clearly show:
- The opening of the parcel exactly as it was delivered by the courier company.
- The parcel completely intact with its original shipping labels and the Odave outer box packaging.
- The customer clearly highlighting the specific defect or damage to the jewelry.
3. Social Media Disparagement Policy We are committed to resolving any issues privately and professionally. You agree that you shall not take to social media (including, but not restricted to, personal accounts on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform) to disparage the image of the Odave brand by posting images or writing content about a defective or damaged product. If this social media policy is violated, Odave reserves the right to refuse to issue any credit note or replace the damaged product.
4. Allergy and Infection Disclaimer No refunds or credit notes shall be issued in case you contract an infection or allergic reaction upon the use of our products. If you wish to claim that an allergy was caused exclusively by an Odave product (and not due to a pre-existing sensitivity or combination with other products), you must write to us privately via email and attach a valid doctor’s certificate stating the allergy was caused directly by our product. You agree to resolve this matter privately via email and not post about it on any social media platforms.
